The story of a working father and son

SYN: Dad, can I ask you something?
Daddy: Well, what’s up?
SYN: Dad, how much do you earn per hour?
DAD: It’s not your business. Why are you asking me this question?
SYN: I was curious. Tell me, please, how much you earn per hour.
Dad: Well, if you want to know so much, I’m earning PLN 100 an hour.
SYN: Oh! (with his head down), Dad, would you borrow me PLN 50?
Dad’s pissed off.
Dad: The only motive is why did you ask me this because you wanted me to lend you money to buy some stupid toy or other meaningless thing for your room and bed.
Think about why you are such an egoist. I work hard all day and you behave so immature.
The little boy went silently into his room and closed the door.
The man sat down and thought about the boy’s question and got even more upset. How could he ask me this question? He began to think.
Maybe he had a need to buy something indispensable for those PLN 50, he does not often ask for money.
The man went to the boy’s room and opened the door.
DAD: Are you sleeping son?
SYN: No, Dad, I’m not sleeping. Daddy
: I just thought maybe I was too harsh for you. It was a really hard day for me and I got rid of you. Here is PLN 50 you asked me for.
The little boy sat on the bed and smiled.
SYN: Ah, thank you, Dad.
Then he pulled out wrinkled notes from under the pillow. The man, when he saw that the boy had money, became nervous.
DAD: Why do you want money when you have it?
SYN: Because I did not have enough, but now I have.
Dad, I already have PLN 100 and I can buy one hour from your time. Please come tomorrow from work. I would like to have dinner with you.
Dad was speechless. He took his son and begged for forgiveness.
